Default How much would a transmission leak cost in a 2000 Ford Expedition?

It's been leaking for a while. But not that bad. The other day, as I got an oil change, the mechanic said I had a bad leak, probably a seal. About how much would it cost and how long would it take? I'm supposed to leave for Connecticut in a few days. I'm currently in Florida. If it cost too much to fix..is there something I can do to at least get me to CT? I don't have another vehicle and can't rent one. Thanks in advance!
