Ford Thunderbird: Good Buy?

I am looking at a '97 Thunderbird as my first car. $1900. The example I am looking at has 188k on the clock, and it is nice inside and out. Leather seats, CD player, power everything, etc. I've looked up the fuel economy on fueleconomy.gov, and reported fuel economy is 21 mpg, on average. I would like to ask a little help from all car buffs and enthusiasts out there. Is the '97 Thunderbird a good buy for a 15-year old muscle car enthusiast's (with automotive technology and body experience) first car?

Thanks.

that I can not participate now in discussion - there is no free time. But I will be released - I will necessarily write that I think on this question.
