So, you may wonder when you are the at gas pump, is 93 octane really better than 87, the stuff I have been putting into my Ford F150 since I got it. The guys at Car & Driver wondered, too, and the results may amaze you.

Okay, now, the results are in, and the performance difference between 87 and 93 octane gasoline is Ė letís way a minute and set things up, and then weíll get to the reveal.

And, perhaps you wondered what would happen if you jumped from the 87 octane you are using with your Ford EcoBoost 3.5-liter V6 to the top grade 93. Would it make a difference?
